Director of Global Connections Julie George is the director of Global Connections. She comes to GC from Bowling Green State University, where she also worked as an instructor in the ESL Program. As well, she served as the acting director and the assistant director of BGSU’s ESL Program. In addition to her past teaching and administrative duties at BGSU, Julie has also served on the board of Global Connections since 2000 and started and continues to teach the Community English Class, a free conversation-skills class for any non-native English speakers in the Bowling Green area. When she’s not working, Julie enjoys reading, traveling, March Madness, writing, cooking, hanging out with friends, and playing games.
