Welcome to Global Connections!

Global Connections is a non-profit organization in Bowling Green comprised of various churches and ministry organizations that are made up of volunteers who care deeply about the well-being, success, and safety of international students at Bowling Green State University and others from the international community in Bowling Green. We have a caring heart for you, and we want to make you feel welcomed for however long you stay in our community.

International students are important to us as guests in our country and town. We believe that their presence is a blessing and opportunity for us to learn more about their cultures and about them as a person. Befriending them and serving their needs is a fulfilling and life-affirming experience.

Driving Schools

Global Connections offers monthly Driving Schools from September - April.  If you are interested in being added to the waiting list, please contact Julie at jgeorge@globalconnections-bg.org.

Community English Class

Global Connections provides a weekly English Class for all non-native English speakers from September - April; free childcare is available.

Day:  Every Wednesday (beginning 9/24)
Time: 9:30 - 11:30 am
Location: BG Alliance Church
(1161 E. Napoleon Road)
Cost: Free, except for $10 for textbook
