Two of Global Connections Partners—CRU & InterVarsity—are on-campus ministry organizations, and they have other activities and Bible Studies that you might be interested in joining. See further details below:

Cru is a Christian organization on campus, but welcomes students from all spiritual backgrounds to their activities.  We are a campus organization that wants to serve the international community in three specific ways: provide social activities that bring American and international students together, as a partner with Global Connections in all the great things they do, and provide environments to help people think about life, culture, faith, hope, love, God (who He is and who He is not) and about why things are the way they are.

Activies

Monthly dinners - A time when American and international students from many backgrounds bring dishes from their home countries to share and eat together, while talking about a topic such as friendship and how it relates to culture and spirituality in our nations. The next one is Feb 5th.  Contact Andreya Evans evansaj@bgsu.edu if you are interested.  The one in March will be dinner and dancing from around the world!

Life Group - Every Friday from 12:00-1:20pm in Union room 407.  Pizza is provided for lunch.  Come get to know a few other international and American students as we look at the Bible, starting with the life and teachings of Jesus. Whether you are familiar with the Bible or have never read it you are welcome to come join us.

CRU in Olscamp 101 - Every Thursday at 9 pm the larger organization of Cru meets in Olscamp 101. If you are looking for a place to meet American students, listen to a short speech on what life is all about and hear fun local bands then the big Cru meeting is a great spot for you!

English Partners - Cru is a large student organization.  There are several American students interested in hanging out with International students as conversation partners.  If you are interested in meeting with an American student as a conversation partner then please let Ruth Bubalo know.
