We will be hosting a Welcome Picnic at one of the camps just outside of BG. We’ll be distributing Welcome Bags, having games for the kids, and connecting with the adults. If you would like to help with the planning of this fun evening, please contact Julie.
We also plan to have a household item drive to bless our friends with many useful items that they can take with them as they move on. Please no furniture or large items. All items must be new or gently used and clean.
o Pillows
o Sheet sets – twin size only
o Towels/towel sets
o Blankets
o Pots/pans
o Dishes/dish sets
o Silverware
o Cleaning supplies (buckets, paper towels, multi-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, broom/dustpan, etc)
These items should be dropped off at your church on Sunday, 6/20, 6/27 and 7/4 or up until Friday, 7/9; ask your GC Representative where this location is. Or consider coming to the Welcome Picnic and bringing these items yourself. We will have tables set up at the Welcome Picnic where these items can be laid out.
